Introduction to PDO Threads

Our PDO Thread Courses are taught by our team of advanced, medically trained, aesthetics practitioners. The course has been specifically designed to ensure that all of our students leave with the specialists skills and essential core knowledge enabling them to join a very lucrative and growing market as safe practitioners.

PDO Threads are a non-surgical treatment, used to restore the clients skin elasticity & volume without the use of dermal fillers and anti-wrinkle treatments which some clients can be against the idea of. There is a wide range of threads available, therefore meaning you can offer a tailored treatment for the client depending on the desired result required.

​

Mono threads are great for clients with early signs of ageing that want to enhance their collagen production in specific areas along with a slight lifting effect, they can be used anywhere on the face and body with very little downtime.

​

Cog threads are for creating a more dramatic, instant lifting effect which is ideal for hooded eyes hence the foxy eye treatment and also for heavier signs of ageing of the face such as deep-set nasal folds, marionette lines & sagging facial contours by performing a cog face lift. They also can be used on the breasts, arms and stomach for a significant lifting and tightening result.

Throughout the course we will ensure you will be given plenty of practical experience. Here at the academy we do not believe in students having to share models so you will work on your own individual live models ensuring you are ready to start your own clients immediately after you have completed your training.

If you do not have any of these qualifications call a member of the team and they can enrol you on to one of our Pathway to Injectables prior. It is the responsibility of the student to check with their individual insurance companies as they all vary.
